Walmart will launch Walmart Exports in 2026, enabling WFS sellers to ship to Canada and Mexico with simplified cross-border fulfillment.
Walmart is about to start the “Walmart Exports” service in early 2026, which will offer a possibility for its online marketplace sellers to ship products from U.S to customers in other countries, starting with Canada and Mexico. This program is expected to extend the customer base who currently use Walmart Fulfillment Services(WFS).

With the new program, products stored in the Walmart’s U.S fulfillment centers that are eligible will automatically be enrolled for international delivery. Walmart will handle the picking, packing and international shipping, simplifying cross-border logistics for sellers without changes in current inventory and workflow. Import duties, taxes and shipping fees will be handled at checkout by the customer.
For WFS sellers, Walmart Exports could unlock substantial demand, under current terms, Walmart’s fulfillment network serves only U.S addresses, meaning sellers have limited ways to reach more customers. Under this new export option, the seller could list directly to buyers in neighboring countries without having to create international storefronts.
This launch represents a part of Walmart’s broader strategy aimed at strengthening its logistics and fulfillment services and directly competing with rivals like Amazon. Amazon already offers international shipping options under its FBA Export program. Walmart’s initiative could attract more third-party sellers because the pathway of entering global markets today is smoother than before. Company executives have said that with cross-border capabilities, sellers can reach new customer base by utilizing Walmart’s extended supply chain and fulfillment infrastructure.
In summary, Walmart exports will enable chosen Walmart Fulfillment Services sellers to export their products with minimum interference in existing operations. This will help them increase sales and make Walmart competitive in the booming e-commerce market.
